The Kennedy & Shriver connection to seven

There are more than 7 ties to the popular number seven and the Kennedy and Shriver families. (Photo features Senator Ted Kennedy and the seven book author) “Kennedy” and "Shriver" are each spelled with 7 letters. Robert F. Kennedy was the 7th of 9 children. Senator Ted Kennedy lived for 77 years and he was re-elected to the Senate 7 times. Seven-hundred people attended Ted Kennedy’s 77th birthday party. The late Senator Kennedy called all 177 Massachusetts 9-11 survivor families personally to express his sympathy. Anthony Kennedy Shriver’s (nephew of JFK and founder of the inspiring Best Buddies International which serves people with intellectual disabilities) name is spelled with three seven-letter words. Since there were seven members in his family, their speed boat was named "Lucky 7". The seven book “7” explores the 7-phenomenon. When Lt. Jack Kennedy’s PT 109 boat was destroyed, he bravely saved several lives and the remaining crew members were stranded for 7 days. When JFK was 8 years old, he was one of 7 Kennedy children. John Kennedy won 7 presidential primaries before capturing the nomination.
